Sitemap » Cadets » Scholarship » Robert and Mary Dale Award Air Cadet League of Canada Post-Secondary Education Scholarship Robert and Mary Dale Award Application Form Robert Gordon Dale, DSO, DFC, CD, and Mary Dale, have given exceptional service to Canada in times of both war and peace. This has been especially so in their support of Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Robert Dale served as the National President of the Air Cadet League of Canada in 1972-1973, and he has continued to serve diligently and effectively as the Honorary President of the League since that time. Accruing from a gift received from Robert and Mary. Dale, a scholarship is offered annually by the Air Cadet League of Canada. The award is open to students that are members of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets during the year of application, and it is awarded on the basis of Secondary School scholastic achievement, combined with outstanding performance as an Air Cadet. A recipient may receive this award once only. Applicants must be graduates of the Secondary School (or equivalent) system of any Province or Territory, in the year of application, and who are entering directly into a full program of studies at a fully-accredited post-secondary education facility (university, college or technical institute) where the program to undertaken leads to a degree, diploma, or professional or technical qualification. Applications for this award must be received by the National Office of the Air Cadet League of Canada, 66 Lisgar Street, Ottawa, ON K2P 0C1, no later than 1 May of the entrance year. Proof of acceptance and registration at the post-secondary education facility to be attended must also be submitted as soon as possible. An award will not be approved finally until this confirmation has been received. *Please note that we expect to receive hundreds of applications for these awards, accordingly only the winners will be contacted. Please check this website frequently as of mid to late June for the announcements of the winners' names. Unsuccessful applicants may not be notified. Also please note that there is no point in sending incomplete or missing documents once the winners' names have been posted and you are not amongst the successful applicants.
